OS 2.1 Is Here!
New Features!
OS 2.1 lets you use programmable buttons to set lighting or music scenes, create playlists, and easily access and control your entire home from any touch screen, the TV screen…and even iPhones, iPads and PCs if you have a MyHome license. Some of the new features in OS 2.1 include:
- Custom Buttons—Easy one-touch access to your favorite scenes and functions, right from the home screen
- Language Support—Now supporting almost 20 languages! English, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Croatian, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Thai, Turkish, Ukranian, Chinese (People’s Republic of China), Chinese (Taiwan)
- Photo Screen Saver—Your touch screens can showcase your favorite photos giving you digital picture frames throughout the house when you’re not actively controlling your system
- Pool Control—Enjoy automated control of your pool temperature, covers and more with this easy interface
- Thermostats—Create your preferences for the ideal temperature based on time of day, season or outdoor temperature, an event like a party, or your interest in energy savings
- Audio Control—Manage your music your way in your rooms

If you’re on an OS 2.0.x system, you’ll find more of the features you want, more system stability and support for all of the new products from Control4 and our partners.
If you are still on a 1.x system, you’re missing out on new features and products. OS 2.1 provides support for the slick in-wall touch screens with optional intercom capability, door locks, MyHome—the app that lets you control your home from your iPhone, iPad, PC or tablet, along with a host of next-generation Control4 and third-party products that only work on the new platform. And don’t forget about the apps!

More 4Store!
4Store apps give you useful and fun features that enhance the functionality of both Control4 and third-party devices and systems in the home. Homeowners can set up a 4Store account online and then purchase and download 4Store applications. There are a variety of entertainment apps that homeowners can download and enjoy through their touch screens and TVs. There are also control apps that provide enhanced system functionality for changing codes on locks, managing lighting scenes, or internet radio with support from a Dealer.
